Life Planning Hub

Plan the life your salary can actually pay for

A salary is not a number — it's a lifestyle, a city, a home, a retirement, a stress level. The Life Impact Engine models all of it.

Most salary tools stop at gross pay. SalaryScopePro models the full chain — federal and state/provincial tax, cost-of-living, housing, savings rate, retirement contributions — and outputs a SalaryScope Life Success Score so you can see at a glance whether your trajectory is Elite, Strong, Moderate, or Needs Improvement.

What the Life Impact Engine measures

Every analysis runs eight scores in parallel:

  • Lifestyle Score — discretionary cash after necessities
  • Financial Comfort Score — buffer beyond fixed costs
  • Housing Affordability Score — rent vs net pay
  • Savings Potential Score — what's left to invest
  • Retirement Readiness Score — track to 10× salary by 65
  • Future Wealth Score — projected 25-year net worth
  • Quality of Life Score — composite stress + freedom
  • Life Success Score — the headline 0–100 metric

How to use this hub

Start with the calculator that matches the decision in front of you. The relocation engine answers 'should I move?'. The home-affordability engine answers 'can I afford this house?'. The retirement engine answers 'will I make it?'. Every result links back to your Life Success Score so you can see the full picture, not just one number.

Best practices

Run the same inputs against two or three scenarios — current city vs target city, current salary vs negotiated salary, 10% savings vs 20%. The engine recomputes every score, so the trade-offs are visible in seconds.
