Corrections Policy
Published figures go out of date and mistakes happen. Here is how to tell us, and what we do about it.
Reporting an error
Use the contact page and tell us the page address and what looks wrong. If you can point to the source you believe is correct, that speeds things up considerably. Reports go to Keiron Brown directly.
What happens next
- We check the figure against the primary source it was derived from.
- If it is wrong, we correct the page and record the date of the correction.
- If the same input feeds other pages, we re-derive those pages as well.
- If the figure is right but unclear, we rewrite it so it reads correctly.
- If we disagree, we will tell you why rather than quietly leaving it.
Routine review
Separately from reported errors, pages are reviewed on a schedule: pages carrying salary, cost-of-living, or market figures are reviewed quarterly. explanatory and definitional content is reviewed annually. corrections are made promptly when an error is reported.

Limits worth stating
Wage data is published on a lag, so even a correct figure describes the period its source covers rather than today's market. We correct errors in how we derive and present figures; we cannot correct the underlying dataset. Neither Relationale LLC nor Keiron Brown acts as a recruiter, staffing firm, compensation consultant, financial adviser, accountant, or attorney.
